Each course is one day and involves observing a TMR case being performed in the OR followed by a didactic teaching and cadaver training.
Some details:
01CASUAL DRESS
Dress casually and “surgery ready” as you will be in a cadaver lab at the end of the day. Scrubs and protective eyewear will be provided.
02CASE REVIEW
There will be one to two TMR cases for viewing. If there is one case, it will start at 10:00 A.M. If there are two cases, the first will be at 7:30 A.M.
03DIDACTIC TEACHING | Phase 1
45 minute talk, intro to TMR.
03LUNCH
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
05DIADACTIC TEACHING | Phase 2
45 minute talk, upper and lower extremity TMR.
06WORKSHOP
Hands-on training in the cadaver lab.
07DIADACTIC TEACHING | Phase 3
30 minutes, additional topics including prosthetic rehabilitation, starting a TMR program, etc.
08CONCLUSION
We should wrap up by 4:30 P.M.
